I weigh HOW much??

Well, we’re at the moment of truth, and now I get to keep my promise of posting pictures to document this journey. I don’t like before pictures where the people are scowling, hating the shape or look of the miraculous vehicle that carries them through life. So that’s why I’m smiling– I’m finally LOVING my body, for the hard things I ask it to do for me every day, for its health, and for the experiences I get to have in it.

If I don’t love myself now or make it safe and okay to be where I am now, I put conditions on my body and my energy that make it unsafe to change. Most people don’t resonate at ” I am safe when I am visible. It’s safe to be my authentic self around others.”

And so weight is literally used to hide us or make us feel protected. We self-sabotage and don’t even know why. Even when we mentally feel like we’re okay, at a deeper level we don’t feel safe, or don’t believe we’re worth it (or a host of other false beliefs) and so we make choices that reflect that deep core belief.

But when we declare that we are lovable exactly as we are right this very moment, and that we’re safe no matter what happens, and we clear those limiting belief systems, a very powerful shift occurs in our energy, which very naturally leads to different behaviors and choices. And when the weight is no longer needed, it comes off very easily.

I used food to ground myself and comfort my way through anxiety. But now that I have the tools and better skills to stay grounded in a healthy way, I’m ready to follow that up with action to support my new belief system and vibration.

So, go ahead and look at me, world! All 153 pounds of me!
