We all value gratitude, but sometimes we lose sight of bigger dreams because of it. When we already have more than enough on our hands, we start to get too comfortable and stay stagnant. Some people stop asking for more because they’ve reached their goals, while some dim their light to stop intimidating others. But does it bless anyone if we stop aiming higher for ourselves or if we start being “sensitive” to the fact that others have too little?

Gratitude as a Tool, Not a Weapon
Imagine already getting the house of your dreams, and you find yourself hoping for another one – a beach house on a coastal property. Or if you already got a job that paid your bills, but you find yourself thirsting for a job that might give a fatter paycheck.
There is nothing wrong with that!
Being thankful is not equivalent to being stagnant. When gratitude is used as a weapon, we hush the thought of dreaming more dreams. We tell others or ourselves this familiar line of “Why can’t you just thankful for what you already have?”
Sounds familiar? I’m sure it is! But the next time you hear others say that, make sure you stand squarely on the fact that it’s not wrong to want more. We are meant to constantly expand. The universe will never run out of good things for you!
As a tool, gratitude helps you get to higher levels of joy and growth. Life is always on journey and this means it’s only necessary to keep asking – “Can it get better? Is there more?”
Asking for More When Others Have Little
What if you already have so much and others have so little? Is it fair to ask for more when you find yourself surrounded by people who are drowning in scarcity?
YES!
And it is not only fair, but it is also right!
There’s an unlimited supply for everyone who dreams. Taking more blessings does not rob others of their chances of succeeding or getting what they would want. If you refuse to have more, it does not give others more, either! Everyone has an opportunity to get what they want and need, so dimming your light in lieu of others does not make any sense. Ultimately, it does not bless anybody. Not you, not others.
In fact, if you choose to shine even brighter, people won’t help but notice. You will become a powerful example of possibilities. Your radiance will become so contagious that others will want to do what you did in order for them to get what you got!
Why Push for More When There’s Enough?
I’m sure I’m not alone about the concept of never ever wanting another dream once I got my biggest dream! But here’s really happens after you conquer the summit of your current mountain: The path is so steep and rough, that you don’t have time to realize that it’s not the only mountain around you.
There is more. There is always more.
After reaching the top of your mountain, a sense of accomplishment envelopes you and you take your time breathing in that grand win. But after a few moments and the glory calms down, you see there’s another mountain beside you all along. This time it is higher, prettier, and sure to be more rewarding to conquer.
Be on the lookout for your summit. You may not know you want that bigger yet, and that’s because it may not appear in your current options. But as you walk through life, the options become more and more vivid.
There’s So Much Waiting for You!
Everyone needs to stay in curiosity so you can make room for the path that will lead you to possibilities that are beyond your imagination. By marching on your prosperity road, you will unconsciously bless so many other people’s lives.
Keep going forward to your next levels of success with less struggle and more surprise. More people around you will be doing the same!
