Everyone wants to make more money. We go to work every day for the payoff at the end of the pay period. But one simple way to bring more money into your experience is to give some of it away.
What? Give my money away? Did I hear you right? Yep!
When you get into the practice of tipping a little bit more than is required, contributing a little bit more than usual to your church or cause that inspires you, financially supporting the fundraiser to help out your school, you send a strong signal to the universe that
You can afford to be generous.
You have to make room to receive more, and giving away your money opens your hands and your bank account for the universe to put more into it.
This is a principle that requires faith and a leap of trust. Society teaches us to go get ’em, and Giving it away feels counterintuitive to what we’ve been taught. But I’ve seen it work in my own life so many times that I know it’s not a fluke or a lucky break. It’s an immutable, universal law that causes expansion when used correctly.
Try this for a month and notice what more good comes into your life. Ideas and opportunities will open up for you, and as you give more you will literally receive more.

Great post Allyson. I’m a big believer in the fact that if you serve as many people as possible, it comes back to you ten-fold!!
Love this 😉
Great post Allyson! It’s the cause/effect principle. The more open you are to receiving, the more you give. Though it’s important to understand that giving is the effect, not the cause. 🙂
I know this to be true – whenever I have concerns about money coming in, I do whatever I can to pay some bills going out …. and guess what ALWAYS happens? Yep, money comes back in!
