Why It’s Crucial to Embody Feminine Energy Today W/ Laurel Huston

Are you willing to save the world?! NOT kidding! Today’s world looks like it needs to be saved more than ever before, doesn’t it? Maybe not “saved” in a sense we imagine it – but more like “healed.”

And what if I tell you that you have the healing power? Because the healing power is your feminine energy, and the world needs it more than ever! And today, I have a guest who can help you embody your feminine energy.

Dear Prosperity Seekers, I’m pleased to introduce Laurel Dawn Huston, an award-winning international keynote speaker. Laurel is innovative, passionate, and engaging on stage, with ground-breaking content.

She is the creator of Body Mapping, a technique used to identify markers on our bodies that signify gifts, abilities, and personality traits. Laurel has worked with 1000s of clients, helping them regain trust in their relationships with time, money, their bodies, and intimacy.

Laurel teaches Body Mapping to empower others to reunite with their divine energy… to live a life of tuned in and turned on. Body Mapping is the map the Universe left on your body to help you remember – you have a purpose, you matter, you are enough!

Body Mapping was created through 20 years of study as Laurel earned several college degrees (Psychology, Speech Communication, and Human Development), taught anatomy, body language, energy healing, and followed inspiration.

She now uses it to empower and inspire others to discover their highest self.

We’ve had an amazing half an hour interview (although I could talk with her for hours!) about feminine energy and embodying feminine energy. I’ve enjoyed soo much, and I know you’ll also have a wonderful time listening to her.

So join us as we’re diving into the real-world benefits of embodying feminine energy and how to actually do that. Plus, Laurel is dropping some value-bombs about:

  • the destruction of women
  • women’s fear of receiving and being selfish
  • women’s role in healing today’s world

You don’t want to miss this one, so let’s jump right in!

Women Are Not Natural Givers

This conversation about divine feminine energy, understanding how it works, and how to embody it is the most relevant conversation that we can have today. Because in today’s world, women are being destroyed in subtle ways. (And also in not so subtle ways.)

Laurel explains a lot of our programming is not only imposed by our society, but it’s actually coded into your DNA. Because women’s worth has been placed on their ability to produce life and carry on a bloodline for centuries.

Generations of women were told to get married and produce life, but also to give, be generous, serve, and put everyone’s needs above our own. To be completely blunt, that has been the destruction of women.

Before you think this is a too extreme position, let me explain. We know that feminine energy is inviting energy – pulling, seduction, receiving energy. What is the word that we never used for describing feminine energy? GIVING. Because women are NOT natural givers.

There is nothing about a woman’s body that she can create without first receiving. If she wants to create life, she has to first receive sperm. If she wants to create milk, she has to first receive nutrition, liquid, and hormones. Women have to receive before they can give

But society is constantly telling women that they have to give, give, give… and we have become drained and overwhelmed. Women have become a life shell instead of a life force. And physically, mentally, and emotionally tired women can be controlled very easily.

Transmuting or Alchemy

We said that women are not natural givers. So what’s our natural role? Laurel says it’s to receive and transmute. Transmuting is taking one thing and turning it into something else. Like taking sperm and an egg and creating a life. Or turning nutrition into milk.

Another way of looking at this is alchemy. It’s taking something of one value and turning it into something of an even greater value. This is why we say that a woman turns a house into a home.

It’s cooking dinner versus providing a meal that people sit down, connect, and have a conversation around. Or planning an event and having a flower arrangement on the table (when men plan an event, the table is blank).

Women create those detailed finite touches that make people feel something – safety, nurturing, connection, or other things you can think of depending on the circumstances you’re in. But women are not givers.

Holding this false narrative that women’s duty or calling is to give more than they have is destroying us. That’s what Laurel is pointing to all the time.

Desire – Of the Father

I know that it’s not easy to abandon the things you’re programmed for. So, you can continue giving, but practice receiving as much or more than you’re giving away.

There’s one interesting thing about receiving that I absolutely agree with Laurel – many women fear receiving because they don’t want to be told that they’re selfish. Actually, we are taught that we can’t go after our desires because fulfilling them would hurt other people.

(Both Laurel and I were accused of being selfish in the past. Tune in for the full episode to find out how we acted in those situations.)

As Laurel explains, in Latin, the word desire literally means “of the father” (“de sire”) or “of God.” So desire is not a head thing. It comes from your heart. And if your heart is connected to God, your heart’s desires will always be in alignment with your mind, body, and spirit.

So, when you follow your desire with the expectation that you will experience it, the Universe will bend over backwards to support you – because it’s the will of God.

But why is it so hard for us to follow our desires? Because women are so disconnected from their bodies. And desire is not in your head – your head is your clock, your heart is your compass. So if you felt lost, you wouldn’t look at a watch. You’d look at a map or GPS.

(We talked a lot more about trusting your desires and following them in everyday life, and you can listen to all those things if you tune in for the full episode.)

The Time Is Now

In the end, let’s unpack why this conversation is more relevant today than it has ever been. Why must we be unapologetically women now?

There is a global shift happening. This is the first time in history when it has been safe for a woman to be heard, seen, and to create her own independence. This is the period when people, particularly women, have the safety of stepping into their divine feminine energy.

So, the world is entering a feminine uprising. It’s divine feminine healing because feminine energy is the healing energy. And the world needs to heal right now. But we need more women to answer the call.

As Laurel says, there are so many women right now who have felt the tugging on their hearts, and they are waking up to their spiritual gifts. They have all their senses awakened, and they’re frightened by that.

They feel it, but they don’t know what to do with it because of so much programming around that. Still, it’s time to feel safe enough to progress exponentially and unapologetically.

What we’re witnessing today is that power is out of balance. And in that situation, no one can feel empowered. You have people in power, and you have a disempowered mass. So, by disempowering women, we are actually also disempowering men.

No balance can be recreated until we get out of this wounded disempowered energy and both feminine and masculine energy are back in their empowered mood.

You have very corrupt people in power (both men and women) right now who are doing everything they can to stay in power. And the easiest way to do that is to take away empowerment from the masses, making them wounded and disempowered.

Taking Away Women’s Identity

Disempowered energy is destroying society, allowing a woman’s identity to be taken away from her. And here’s the sad part about that – if the world wants to heal, then women need to be able to stand up and say, I am a woman. I am a mother. I am a wife. I am a daughter.

Laurel also explains why quite corrupt men try to keep women down. Because a woman’s womb (not her uterus) is a portal to source energy. There is power in a woman and her will because she is directly connected to God.

And those who are not powered by good see that as a threat. So if they want to destroy us, they would make us doubt our identity and our value as women. That’s why it’s crucial to remember – We are valuable just being a woman!
