Are you rooted in your feminine energy? Or do you sometimes sway too much into the masculine? We embody both of these energies, but when one takes precedence… We get a little lost.
I don’t want to say one is better than the other… What’s really great is the BALANCE we can strike between our feminine and masculine sides.
Too much of the masculine and you feel overwhelmed, burned out, unfulfilled, and empty. Too much of the feminine, and we get listless, restless, and scattered.
It’s SO important to know which type of energy you feel more often. Balance is the key to creating with power!
Tune in because today I share everything you need to know about feminine and masculine energies… And, of course, you will learn how to strike that divine balance!
The Difference Between Feminine and Masculine Energies
Where do you spend most of your time? In feminine energy? Or in the masculine?
Once you answer this, you’ll know if you’re out of balance.
I know it may seem like a difficult question to answer.
So, let’s look at these different qualities:
FEMININE TRAITS VS MASCULINE TRAITS
- being VS doing
- being spontaneous VS being predictable
- intuitive VS logical
- being playful VS thinking
- beauty/beautiful things VS functionality/functional things
- being invisible VS being concrete
- being dynamic VS being sturdy
- circular VS linear
- vulnerable VS protective
- nurturing VS providing
- “the we”/community VS “the I”/individuality
- receiving VS giving
- “and” “either… or…”
- pulling VS pushing
This certainly is not an exhaustive list. I could go on and on… And if you tune in for the new episode, you’ll find out exactly what I’m talking about.
Are You Pushing or Pulling?
I found that ambitious-driven, goal-oriented women spend more time in masculine than in feminine energy. They’re in the constant push, the constant doing.
Most women in business get into the masculine so they can manage their businesses or climb the corporate ladder.
But once we reach our goal, we might feel fulfilled for a week or so.
Then, we start feeling like we’ve sacrificed our identity, relationships, and children on the altar of achievement. What’s more, we’re left feeling empty and asking ourselves, “What’s the point?”.
Sounds familiar?
You see, that’s an indication that we’re creating too much masculine energy. You feel overwhelmed, burned out, unfulfilled, and empty.
On the other hand, if you’re too much in the feminine, you may start feeling listless, restless, and scattered.
“The feminine force is primarily responsible for desire. The masculine force is primarily responsible for the production of that desire.” – Regena Thomashauer
If we’re in too much desire, and we’re not giving it any structure, we start feeling like nothing is getting done.
Think of water… If we just pour the water out all over the counter, it doesn’t have any power. It just goes everywhere and makes a mess. We need a container to give it some shape and purpose.
In the same way, we need a structure (a container) behind our feminine energy (water) to give it shape, direction, and flow. Still… If we just build, build, build and forget the point of the structure, we will feel overwhelmed and exhausted.
The goal is to strike a divine balance between the masculine and the feminine.
Stop Thinking and Start Playing
You probably spend a lot of time thinking and trying to puzzle things out in your business. This can get difficult… and you start feeling like you’re enduring to the end.
That’s a perfect time to ask yourself: “What’s the opposite of thinking?”
Well, the opposite of thinking is being playful!
Let yourself play for just a few minutes. The play has the amazing power to get us out of the masculine immediately.
Of course, that doesn’t mean spending four hours playing. It means you have to do something different for 10-15 minutes.
After taking a break to play, you’ll feel restored, rejuvenated, and refreshed. What’s more, such a reset will help you sharpen your focus and get tasks done faster.
What can you do?
Actually, it’s simple.
Find things that make you feel playful and that you don’t do very often.
I like standing out in the grass. I turn on music and sway. But I have to leave my office.
Leave the space where you’ve been pushing the river for too long. You can go anywhere – into the women’s restroom, into a hallway, down the stairwell, into your car, to the parking lot. It doesn’t matter.
The point is to change the energy you’ve been in for too long. Then you can start to play.
I turn on music and just dance. To be honest, I have no skill, but that doesn’t stop me.
You don’t need skills to have fun dancing.
The point is to enjoy and get into your body. In that way, you’ll pop yourself into the feminine energy quite quickly.
You’ll feel alive again and back in touch with yourself. And it’ll be much easier to go back and look at the project you’re working on with fresh eyes.
What you’re doing is putting yourself into a higher vibration where all the great ideas live. Then you can get through that task with so much more speed and a ton more pleasure.
Be in Alliance With Both Energies
You see, my dear Prosperity Seekers, to have that powerful creative experience we desire, we must be in alliance with both feminine and masculine energies.
So jot down the different qualities of the feminine and the masculine. If you’re stuck in the masculine, choose one feminine quality to play with next.
Choose something you haven’t let yourself really explore or feel. Maybe it’s spontaneity or surrounding yourself with more beauty. Pick the one you feel fun and spend some more time there within the next week.
And… Make sure to share your insights in our community! We’d all love to hear from you.
