Your fears and doubts are powerful forces that can easily block certainty and joy in your journey. This is when you need to “let God.” But when we become too obsessed with “making it work,” we tend to impatiently expect the results in the timeline that we set for ourselves. This is the part where you let go.
We often choose between letting go or letting God – but the key is doing both! In this episode, we discuss how you can effectively apply this beautiful mindset to co-create with God through patience and trust.
The Spiritual Bypass
“If it’s meant to be, then it will be.”
When we can’t get what we want and think we have exhausted all options, we often “let go” and give it all to God. That’s a spiritual bypass! Without inspired action, we expect to get what we pray for. You’re dropping your part in the co-creation.
God wants to give you the desires of your heart, but He wants you to co-create. God is not our butler who serves us or a genie who grants us wishes. God wants you to tap into the enormous potential He has given you!
God is in charge of “when” and “how”; the “what” and the “why” are yours to define. That’s the beauty of co-creation – it’s a partnership.
Letting Go
To let go is not to be careless about the future. It is about allowing things to unfold for you without the feeling of fear, doubt, and worry. Letting go allows you to enjoy the experience! If we keep gripping onto our dreams, we tend to micromanage the whole journey.
Part of the essence of staying in our empowered feminine is letting the universe and God surprise you with what’s to come. Keep going but let go of your “what ifs”. Those are the main roadblocks.
You are in the driver’s seat, but sometimes we drive in the middle of a blizzard and find ourselves gripping the steering wheel too tightly. The reason we shouldn’t be white-knuckling the steering wheel is that doing so doesn’t change your speed, direction, or the condition of the awful weather. Slow down – and find comfort in calming down amid a difficult time.
Letting Faith Work Out
Feel the faith, and let it work out. The universe is mathematically and divinely designed for you. Faith is truth spoken in advance – it’s picturing what you want and feeling it as if it’s already there.
Let it work out for you. Sometimes things come that aren’t part of our plans. Sometimes we make choices that lead to trouble. The good news? There’s always a way out of it. If you let faith work, it means your eyes and ears are always open to noticing God’s nudges.
Smile At Closed Doors
God closes doors that won’t lead you to your desired destination, even if you want to get in that door so badly. There’s a funny thing that humans like to do: We do anything and everything until we’re exhausted, and our last resort is to call upon God and let Him do the rest. We “let go and let God” a little too late.
If God is the most powerful being in the multiverse, why don’t we go to Him first?
Ask for His guidance and ask for His help at the very beginning, not just when everything is messed up. While you do this, remember that not every step of the way is going to be the best for you, no matter how drawn you might feel towards it.
When things fall apart and doors close, get intrigued or excited! It means He’s got something better coming along for you. Your journey is not a solitary one – God is co-creating with you!
