Can't Sleep? Try This.

Many times I’ve been awakened in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep. I used to lie there, getting more and more frustrated and upset. But I discovered a trick that has been successful every time, and I think it will help you too.

  1. Start counting backwards from 100. (Rather than counting numbers up, count down. This signals to your subconscious that you’re falling back down to sleep.)
  2. With each number, think of something you’re grateful for.

That’s it? You ask. Yep! That’s it!

I’ve found that I usually only make it to 70 or so before I’ve drifted off to sleep again. There have been a few times when I’ve gotten all the way down to one, though. But when that happens, I realize that I’m not upset because I’ve just spent the last hour in the vibration of gratitude!
