Einstein said, “Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match your frequency with the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”
So, how do you DO that? Match your frequency, that is?
One of the first things I teach in Miracle Academy is the process of pivoting, learned from Abraham-Hicks.
“Anytime you feel negative emotion, stop and say: something is important here; otherwise, I would not be feeling this negative emotion. What is it that I want? And then simply turn your attention to what you do want…In the moment you turn your attention to what you want, the negative attraction will stop; and in the moment the negative attraction stops, the positive attraction will begin. And—in that moment—your feeling will change from not feeling good to feeling good. That is the process of pivoting.”
The reason this works is due to the Law of Attention (or the Law of Focus): Energy flows where attention goes. If you focus on the obstacle, you will only get the obstacle. So, if you shift your attention to what you WANT to feel, this law will kick in and help you to focus on what you want, not on what you don’t want. This is one of the many laws of co-creation we discuss in Miracle Academy.
There is a caveat to this, however: in the moment, you will not FEEL like you want to pivot. You won’t FEEL like getting out of the negative emotion. But that’s when it’s MOST crucial to pivot. As you do what you don’t feel like doing, you strengthen your commitment to what you do want and train your mind to work FOR you instead of against you. And the more you practice pivoting, the easier it will become!
