Must Reads For The Summer

20160603_150329My oldest child Jeryson graduated from high school on Friday! While our whole family is breathing a collective sigh of relief that school is out for the summer, the grown-ups in the family still need to go to work every day.

I am so blessed to absolutely love what I do in my work. It’s a joy to make the commute from the bedroom to the living room every morning, sit down in my overstuffed chair, fire up the laptop and see how I can make a difference today. And what adds to my joy is the lucrative living that comes with trusting and following where my heart leads, and then doing the things I’m required to do in order to live in a higher state. (Which, believe me, are most of the time not easy for me to do!)

Living in a higher state of miracles and abundance requires new beliefs, new ways of thinking and new actions. That’s how you get new results. It requires a willingness to let go of being a “know-it-all” and instead becoming a “learn-it-all.”

Something T. Harv Eker taught me: rich people constantly learn and grow. Poor people think they already know. If you live it, then you know it. If you’re not living it, then you’ve heard about it, read about it or talked about it, but you don’t know it. (For example: how many of us “know” that in order to lose weight we must change our eating habits and move our body more, yet we don’t live it? Then, according to Eker, you don’t know it.) As his mentor said to him long ago, “If you’re not as successful as you’d like to be, there’s something you don’t know.”

Author and philosopher Eric Hoffer said, “The learners shall inherit the earth while the learned will be beautifully equipped to live in a world that no longer exists.” Never is that more true than today, when technology changes so fast we can barely keep up with it.

20160603_182403So, in my desire to be continually learning and growing, I’ve amassed quite a selection of books! I was looking around my “office” today and I counted 11 books I’m either reading or have just finished reading! They have been enormously helpful in my education and raising not only my level of awareness, but also my level of thinking and processing. Mind/thought management is a HUGE part of being able to raise your vibration and hold it there. And why do we care about that? Because that’s where the miracles hang out.

And since I’m here to make a difference in your world, I want to share these books with you! They have been integral in helping me raise my awareness, thoughts, vibration and ultimately my results. I’ve categorized them and have listed them in no particular order. Enjoy!

May I add to this list some “older” , but absolute must- books for us who want to become conscious of being conscious- THE base for everything in my opinion- namely Eckhart Tolle`s two books “The Power of Now”, and “A new Earth”…To feel consciously our own Inner Being is the base for peace, joy, wisdom, abundance, miracles…
    Love from Dagmar from Finland.

Thank you for those book suggestions! I haven’t read them yet, but I’ll be sure to add them to my “need to read” list. They sound fascinating!
